Some people wake up one morning and suddenly decide that this is the day to get fit and lose some weight. So they head to the local gym, tear around the machines, come home in agony, dripping sweat all over the carpet, and never go again! Did they achieve anything by doing so?
Unless you are a qualified personal trainer or have some experience in working out, you are probably not even aware that there are specific exercises designed to achieve different results.
It may be that you want to:
- firm up your butt
- do some resistance training to increase muscle strength
- perk up those boobs
- need to jump on the treadmill for some weight loss, or
- work specific muscle groups to strengthen your core and recover from having baby number three.
But please, before you go madly rushing off to any gym, be prepared to commit to a regular program which will see real results. Speak to your friends about what worked for them. Start slow and work your way into any fitness program, and above all, speak to your medical professional or an experienced personal trainer you feel you can trust, who can guide you through the right program for you.
And with the proper guidance you can do it!
We would love to hear from you if you found a way that worked best for you, and equally, what didn’t! Drop us a comment below and help others gain from your experience.
