Ever since we were little munchkins at home, we were brought up with the sight and smell of fresh flowers in our homes, and it is something we try and maintain many, many decades later. There is just something delightful about walking into a room and having memories come flooding back from so long ago you thought you had forgotten them!
Or smelling a delightful bouquet of flowers which without even seeing them lifts your mood and puts a smile on your face.
A lovely vase of flowers can add something special to a room, often acting as a stunning centrepiece, or a talking point when visitors call by. Friends have often commented how welcome they felt when entering the room and seeing particular flowers which they also loved, and somehow, they just seem to make everyone feel more at home.
You may be creative and be able to assemble a delightful array of flowers, or just tend to throw them in the vase as we do in an almost haphazard way that still looks good. Why don’t you try adding some fresh flowers to your house soon and see if it doesn’t make it feel it more like home to you too!
And please, let us know what you and your family thought of them?
